Northern Star Planned Area Development

The Planning Center worked with Northern Star Properties and a committee of neighbors representing surrounding subdivisions to craft the Northern Star Properties Planned Area Development. Located on the far east side of Tucson, the site is bordered on three sides by major transportation corridors. The PAD provides opportunities for services not currently located within the regional context, including: large format retail establishments, entertainment venues, and office and medical facilities (up to 100′ in building height). Numerous neighborhood meetings resulted in a Neighborhood Agreement that was presented to the City to facilitate
approval of the rezoning.  Conceptual site imagery helped to communicate ideas and strengthen the shared vision throughout the planning process.
