As part of a transportation enhancement effort initiated by UA and City of Tucson, Rita Road was widened to accommodate increased traffic and subsequently the western roadside was enhanced to include landscape and a 10’ wide multi-use path connecting the UA TechPark’s Science Park Drive Loop with Pima County’s The Loop and the Rita Ranch community.
