Dove Mountain Neighborhood Park fulfills a variety of needs for the area including both active and passive recreational uses as well as drainage and flood control measures.  The Planning Center was responsible for the design and construction observation of all portions of the park including playgrounds and tot lot, basketball, tennis, sand volleyball courts, passive recreation areas, picnic and seating areas, shade structures, parking, grading and drainage concepts, planting and irrigation plans, and lighting design.

One of the unique aspects of this park is its close proximity to a significant natural drainageway channel course. The overall design of the park honors the relationship
between the active uses of the park and passive recreational aspects of the surrounding natural open space while at the same time satisfying the detention and flood control functions in an aesthetically pleasing manner.
